LANGUAGE LEVELS
EU standard
You have no knowledge of the language, or at most speak a few words.
You can use and recognize simple words, greetings and directions, but you have limited grammatical knowledge.
You can write and speak in familiar situations and have a reasonable knowledge of grammar; however, your vocabulary is limited.
You speak easily about everyday topics, but with a limited range of styles and expressions. You read and write quite fluently about familiar topics.
EU standard
You have a high level of grammatical ability and can understand and contribute to most conversations on topics you are familiar with, though sometimes with errors.
You communicate confidently and fluently, but lack specialized vocabulary and sometimes make mistakes with complex language use.
You master the language almost like your native language and can handle all complicated written and oral situations in terms of language use.
