Go to Almaany's Arabic-English dictionary (see print screen). Or go directly to Arabic-English dictionary. Enter the word whose synonym you want to look up, for example بَيْتٌ and click on 'ابحث' (search).

You now get all results with the letters

ب ي ت. Look for the correct meaning, which you get from the context of the sentence.

Behind the Arabic word you will find the synonym, in this case منزل. This is the 6th result.



Important note

The dictionary does not provide synonyms for all words. I often write down a short description of the word in Arabic or look up the synonym in an Arabic-Arabic dictionary.
